I started this photography project with the intention of capturing the beauty of Lyon, France. I began my journey at Gare d'Oullins in Oullins and walked through the city, taking photos along the way. I was struck by the architecture, the colors, and the overall atmosphere of Vieux Lyon. I'm so pleased with how this project turned out and I'm excited to share it with you all. I hope you enjoy these shots from my journey through Lyon! This project has given me a new perspective on my city and I'm already planning my next journey.

Indigo
The notion of Indigo children is a modern-day belief that proposes certain youngsters possess exceptional and, at times, otherworldly abilities. It was first observed in the 1970s by Nancy Ann Tappe who noticed these extraordinary kids; later on developed further by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. The idea has gained momentum with books, movies, conferences and related materials being created around it.
Perhaps indigo children are the next step in human evolution endowed with paranormal powers such as telepathy; or they're more empathetic or creative than their peers. Nevertheless there's no scientific proof to back up this assertion.
Sometimes parents use this label instead of seeking proper medical attention from pediatricians or psychiatrists for their child’s learning disabilities which raises concerns about its validity as an alternative diagnosis.

Lyon is an exquisite destination, particularly when you have the chance to explore La basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière. Personally, I enjoy strolling around this area; however, on my recent visit, I opted for a ride on the funicular instead.

In the quiet of Sunday night, a group with no name took action and altered France's largest Marianne. The mural was painted by Parisian street-artist Obey and now bears a new message: "Marianne is weeping." This act carries political significance as it replaces the original motto of "liberty, equality, fraternity".
